●Wales is called Cymru in Welsh
●There are more than 600 castles, which is more than any other country
●There is lots of countryside and landscapes
●The capital is called Cardiff, Caerdydd in Welsh
●There are more sheep than people in Wales!
●Our patron saint is called Saint David
●The shape of Wales looks like a lady in a dress
●The letters K, Q, V and Z aren't in the Welsh alphabet
●Wales had the first road suspension bridge in the world
●There is an animal called the Skomer vole, and it can only be found in Wales
●Daffodil's and leeks are the national emblem of Wales
●Wyt ti'n siarad Cymrieg?
